Actress Lana Lourdes was born on January 14, 1972 in Detroit, Michigan. She grew up in a modest family, as the daughter of a factory worker and nurse. It was during a high school theatre performance, that Lana discovered her passion for acting. After finishing high school, she headed to New York where she began her acting career. Her first job was an off- Broadway performance, but it was followed by an invitation to join the cast of the already popular show “Bills”. The show did great and Lana Lourdes stayed with the show until 2005. Even today she still keeps touch with most of her co-workers. Next she made the move to the big screen, appearing in the critically acclaimed thriller 'Wee Hours". Things kept on moving forward and that year, she appeared in a TV movie, in a comedy, in an action-adventure film, and as a guest on the extra popular show “Earl”.
