Dallas, United States
Born in 1992 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Malcolm Eugene Smith found the local recording studio his playground to express him self from life-learned lessons that he kept close in a journal. It was at the age of 16 when Malcolm moved to Dallas, Texas and his peak of interest had taken a slight turn. As the star basketball player and graduate of North Garland High School, music and writing had became a hobby, but his interest still lied in the sounds of Hip Hop. "It wasn't until the age of 21 that I had decided I was going to take my music and writings seriously. I remember going off in a freestyle at a studio in Arlington, Texas to the beat of 'Pound Cake' and I said to myself, 'this is it'." Malcolm takes much of his inspirations from major Hip Hop artists' such as Drake and Wale. Becoming a man as the oldest of seven to a single mother, he takes much of his experiences as a young boy to be very prevalent in his music. Prince Malcolm is currently dropped his first mixtape!
