when my only child Idriss Stelley was killed by SFPD on June 2001, 48 bullets, 9 "peace officers" , during a "psychiatric intervention" while he sat, alone, in an emptied theater at the SF Sony Metreon Complex, I continued working at Hayward Emergency Shelters until a suicide attempt in March 2002. After 6 months of healing, I opened Idriss Stelley Foundation, now located in the Redstone Building, 2940 16th Street #209, SF 94103.
We provide a bilingual hotline at 415-595-8251, couynselingm, support groups, we moderate over 160 yahoogroups for our clients and other social justice actisists, and we provide Pro Bono Civil Rights Attys referrals, and guide our clients through the legal system.
