i am a work in progress
dressed in the fabric of a world unfolding
offering me intricate patterns of questions
rhythms that never come clean
and strengths that you still haven't seen
so i learned the hard way that life is meant to be lived in happiness and truth...even if that means destroying everything you thought you were and you thought you wanted. my parents raised me to be a good catholic girl, but i have found that there are more genuine and meaningful ways to be a good person who does good in the world. so i'm walking my path, working at it everyday, and i'm struggling to both grow up and find my own joy..because life is more than a title on your office door, 9 to 5, six figure salaries, a nice home and a car.
