His style can be vaguely described as a mix of soulful sounds that evoke emotion for anyone caught in it’s path. Distinct vocals, tight drums, and unique, bright basslines combine to create Köppi Music. His fluid Deep House sound can be slowed down to 90 bpm or more techy up ‘til 125 bpm - depending on time and mood.
Born in 1991 and raised in a small town near Frankfurt am Main, he was smashed by the sound, energy and vibes of the regions underground techno parties and was motivated to start mixing on his own. His first own-productions followed by 2012.
Köppi cites a number of influences. He started making his own music at age 12 - guitar, bass, drums, vocals and whatever else he got his hands on. By 15, after falling in love with Soul Music, Blues and R'n'B, he was playing in a blues-based band.
