I'm influenced greatly by the Mellow period in the early 90's.
At the time I went to many clubs (club Exposure, La DS, Asta, Club Carrera, De Tijd, De Tempel etc) and parties (Mellow Moods, Temple Of Passion etc.) with great dj's like Marcello, Remy, Jurgen, Dimitri, Erick E. Most of them are still performing these days.
I used to listen to Radio Stad Den Haag, the best (illegal) house radio station at the time. DJ's like Jurgen and Peter van Leeuwen started their careers here.
It got me started and hooked on house music. Been DJing for quite a while and in 2019 released my first 2 tracks, Home Base (Sander Hertogh) and Brainwaves (Kotegashi). Home base has been played on several internet stations (Mark Van Dale mix Show and The Time machine with Peter van leeuwen). (both available on all major digital platforms)
Used to post here as 'The Duke' but the release of my own music made me realise it's a generic common name in the business. Now switch to my producer alias Kotegashi.
