Konquerin soundz are a turntable juggling Roots/Rubadub/Dancehall soundsystem who have been reprezenting the Reggae scene in Cornwall since 2006. First established by Ben Read (Benjahman), Adam El-kirate (Dj Origin-L) and Peter Benfield (Brokenreality), Konquerin Soundz brought authentic Jamaican vibes to the far reaches of the south west of England, gradually building their own soundsystem in the traditional way. In 2008 Konquerin Soundz was joined by Nigel (Ras 23) Knight and Ras Fox, from there the crew have since travelled throughout the UK and overseas aswell as bringing international Reggae Artists like YT, Solo Banton and VC to Cornwall on the legendary Rub a Dub Dub inna Tug boat parties. The group began broadcasting the "Out of the Ark Radio Show" in 2012 on Redruth radio before taking on a second show on Cornwall's largest independent radio station Source FM each and every Sunday 1pm to 3pm.
