The Pizza Kings are a band made up of 3 guys who all share a common love of different styles of music. Klint McEachnie was born in Edmonton, Alberta but grew up in Burnaby, British Columbia right near the Vancouver border. Tony and Dom were born and raised in East Vancouver, in the heart of Little Italy.
All three of them grew up on a diet of British Invasion, R&B, Soul, Funk, Blues, Folk, Jazz, Rockabilly, and Country music. All three played in countless bands doing one, two, and three-nighters in high school gyms, bars, restaurants, clubs, legions and halls, playing weddings, dances, parties, bar mitzvahs, and virtually anywhere where the people wanted live music. As a result, their musical tastes are wide and varied and this is reflected in their writing style.
The Pizza Kings enjoy being primarily a studio band. In the past 15 years they have basically produced one cd of material each year consisting of original songs and some eclectic cover tunes.
