Pianist Maria Nguyen-Nhu a.k.a. DJ Dan-Thanh occupies the growing interface between classical music and club vibes, remixing everything from J.S. Bach to Ligeti, while maintaining active as a soloist and director of the International Piano School. Maria liberates classical music from its stuffy image and attracts a younger audience by casting the likes of Händel and Mozart in a more contemporary framework. She is the founder and artistic director of the famous event series "Klassik im Club", which brings classical music to clubs alongside DJ and VJ events.
