Klangwerk. The name came from the regulars at a club. I was a kid from a US Air Force base in Germany, and Klangwerk — sonic craft — stuck. That was the mid-80s. I've been mixing ever since.
No setlists. No cue points. No roadmap. I hit record, drop one track, and follow it wherever it goes. That's how it was done with vinyl, and that's still how I do it. Whatever comes out is the only version that exists.
This channel is a document of those sessions — mixes that would otherwise disappear. Some are tight. Some have a rough edge or two. All of them are unscripted.
