Born out of a relentless passion for music and DJing, Klangdefekt is the brain child side project of Andreea Kay. Honing two decades long of experience in the design, art, and computer science fields under the Klangwelt nickname, Andreea provides creative design services for the music and entertainment industry, as well as creative writing for Conscious Electronic music magazine. She started Klangdefekt in 2019 after taking a long pause of 8 years from music production.

Heavily influenced by harder styles of electronic music and experimental genres, Klangdefekt sits at the crossroad between mainstream and underground techno. Never able to fit into just one box, Klangdefekt strives to bring forth the same philosophy of blending worlds, just like she does with every other of her endeavors.

Klangdefekt’s monthly radio show titled “The Darkest Night” is now available on all major streaming platforms, as well as Youtube.
