September, 2009: Slammin' Hip-Hop with Medical Jibber Jabber on Vocals

Boarding trip to Las Leñas & GFUNK is over-booked. He can't make it to Argentina! His 3 friends are coming, two I've never met. On 2 days notice I dialed into the travel agent and sub'd my friend DJ Starsky into GFUNK's place. The trip was paid for .. it was use it or lose it .. and GFUNK wasn't coming! Diego had never seen snow & couldn't afford a hillside vacation ever in his life.

Boom it was on! We had a great week, both really missing GFUNK & also making the most of it. In the end it worked out considering the circumstances. Boarding was good, wide & off-piste. A 5k walk was at the bottom of one run. Dogsledding teams out there packing up.

Brad, Starsky & I got together one night to make this for GFUNK, so he'd know he was loved and missed. The recording is two single takes: first in Las Leñas and then a second pass in BA to drop the intros & vocals. Bear Hug to Matt Simons: Admire & Love you bro!!
