Club & illegal Rave DJ..Devious was one if not the 1st Club MC as he lit up the Carleton Inn, Morecambe way back in 1989 with an off the cuff rap that became a regular thing as the punters clamoured for more!! Formerly a B-boy of the Ultimate Force(pictured in UK fresh '86 google images with a union jack ghetto blaster & Adidas waterproof tracksuit) Devious had started mixing as young as 13yrs old when he made a 25min remix of rappers delight on the family reel to reel...Left with plenty of time on his hands as the UK B-boy scene reverted to it's underground roots..Devious decided that he needed to quit factory work & thrust himself into the the new music scene that was sweeping the nation..the yr was 1988 and Manchester's hacienda nightclub was dropping all the Detroit sounds & up to date versions of the 'newie' northern soul that we were hearing at the soul all-nighters that were[& still are] the number one musical roots of the North West of England...a DJ WAS BORN !!
