Alix ‘Al-e-x’ Dixon

Born the 1st of August to mother Idel Smith and father Keith Dixon, Kingpinz Record Inc.’s star rapper Alix ‘Al-e-x’ Dixon knew what he wanted at a very early age. He and his mom are very close, so at a young age Alix would say to his mom whenever she went overseas to work, “If that's what you want to do, go and get your dream, Mom.”

At the time, Alix was living in Kingston ’s turbulent Dunkirk community Alix never mind the area, the worse the area was, the better it was for him to see everything that was going on around him. He knew one day he'd have a story to tell.

Alix grew up around reggae acts like Spragga Benz and Wayne Wonder at that time. He was around a lot of musicians, but never wrote for himself until his mom moved him to Mandeville, Manchester where he had time to see the powerful talent that God had given to him.
