Las Vegas, United States
King DJ B-Rock Tha Sharpshoootaaa. DJ B to the room. Official UNLV Rebel DJ, based in Las Vegas. Twenty-plus years of the music that built American pop culture.
Born in Baltimore in 1979, raised between Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. on Northeast hip-hop, R&B and Top 40. Atlanta from 1997: seventeen years, where he started DJing around 2002 and learned Dirty South, bounce and bass where they were being made. Las Vegas in 2016, then Oakland from 2019 to 2024 inside the West Coast sound, and back in Las Vegas since 2024.
The approach hasn't changed: don't wait for a record to get popular. Play it, mix it into something the room already loves, and let the floor decide. That's what breaking records means, and it's why a DJ B set crosses genres without losing anyone. Hip-hop and R&B are the specialties, with Afrobeats, reggae, bounce, dancehall and pop in the crates.
