Kin of Tek is the fusion of the various evolutionary facets of electronic dance music over the past 20 years. Ivan, the brainchild behind this project was previously responsible for Hard Trance anthems such as 'Go Shoot Yourself' and 'Teka'. These were released to much acclaim on UK hard dance labels Nukleuz Records and Kiddfectious under his Jet Black moniker. Having support from international hard dance sensation Alex Kidd, these songs would slam in to huge festivals and clubs across the globe. As the seasons change, so too does the sound. Jet Black then followed up with a release on Italian house label Emotive Sounds. Kin of Tek is the maturation of that harder edged sound, coupled with the groove and feel of house music.
