While her selections typically fall somewhere on the house and techno spectrum, Kimberly St. John's only real criteria is tracks that she loves. A founding partner of both the Electronic Music Alliance (EMA) and SOON Collective, she has effectively channeled it as a means of enacting positive social change.
Beyond connecting people on the dance floor, St. John sees every DJ set as an opportunity to give back to a community that’s given her so much. As an experience curator she strives to pay homage to the pioneers of early rave while paving the way for new generations to follow in their footsteps. That she is so inclined to make her music about something bigger than herself is perhaps the reason her audience has grown in recent years.
