The annual bus party put on by my work social club is legendary. 30-40 'weekday professionals' pile onto a bus and tour the city's pubs, disgorging an increasingly enthusiastic crowd at each pub for the next round of drinks and a 15-minute party takeover. Then back on to the bus and repeat ad somnium. Fancy dress and a positive attitude are compulsory.
The bus has a sound system, but unfortunately no DJ booth (vinyl would be tricky eh). Still, 'Transit Dancing' is what makes the night IMHO. Especially at roundabouts. On the top floor of a double decker. The odd bruise is to be expected.
However, with an age range on the bus spanning upwards of 30 years, it can be difficult to put on music - especially pre-selected - that will get EVERYONE dancing. This is an attempt to do precisely that.
