Riverside, United States
Smooth, sunny House mixed alongside Hard mechanical Techno. My first records were by the Spinners, Brothers Johnson and the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. By 1980, the winds shifted to raw Punk and New Wave, followed by European Industrial and New Beat. Techno exploded at about this time, when I started reviewing vinyl for URB Magazine - then I bought a pair of used Technics 1200s and a Pyramid mixer. A few years later, I moved to Michigan for a few years, where I got the chance to play alongside DJs Rolando (Underground Resistance), Psycho (Detroit Techno Militia), Kotn, PAL, Daemon, and Bill Converse before I came back to California a forever changed DJ. The sound I play is a blend of retro House with hard, mechanical Techno - always mixed live, on vinyl.
