Kamel Omais, better known as Dead-Tones, is a French Lebanese producer based in LA

He has multiple soundscapes with extremely varied productions yet aiming at keeping the warmth of a musical past.

Being originally Lebanese growing up in Ivory Coast, he finds influences from a wide variety of genres ranging from synth pioneers such as Vangelis and Tangerine Dream as well as rhythm masters such as Fela Kuti or even Fairuz.

He has acquired some unique sound-design abilities from three of the top music schools in Los Angeles
which allows him to blend these influences in order to build a distinct sound of his own.

Since 2017 he shared lineups with artists such as LCD Soundsystem, Black coffee bedouin etc
Being a studio-driven artist,
he's landed releases on All Day I dream,
Bar 25, Blue Shadow, Kindisch and more.
