I kept reading Black Enterprise and I too wanted to earn a living doing what I love.
The long of it...
I'm a New York based Makeup Artist/Educator & Barber.
My professional career in beauty began in 1994 "behind the counter" in retail cosmetics. I quickly progressed in skill and opportunity to provide services for DC politicians, LA models, NY correspondents and International musicians.
In January of 2012 I added Educator to my industry resume. I developed and taught a 40-hour certificate course called "Makeup Artistry for the Professional" at Montgomery College in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
In September 2013, I successfully completed course requirements to practice as a Licensed Barber in New York State.
