Hyper-X (Karl Bzdusek) started producing acid house and techno in the early 90s when mix tapes were still “tapes”. Making acid techno, breaks, and other early EDM styles he played several live sets at raves and radio shows. He had a single success with “Out There” on Markus Schulz’s label Plastik which had several remixes most notably by Steve Porter. After switching focus to kiteboarding and video editing at the turn of the century, Hyper-X arose from the ashes in 2016 producing bass music and house.
