Kato Konpyuta (カート・コンピュータ) is a DJ and producer mixing Shibuya-kei with jazz, soul, funk, hip hop and breakbeats.
He's a music and tech geek, and the mixes come off a rig he keeps rebuilding: turntables, a laptop, an old sampler and whichever machine he pulled apart that week. Start with the Shibuya mixtape. It runs the four tracks of the debut EP (KK-001) back to back in 13 minutes, Last Train into Hachiko, Nonbei Yokocho and Center Gai.
