I fell in love with house music as a teenager in the early 90’s. While clubbing and attending raves in the late 90’s / early 2000’s, I often found myself drawn to the DJ, observing and feeling inspired. Influenced by friends, I invested in Technics turntables, began collecting vinyl, and DJ’d in venues around Adelaide playing hard house. As other passions took over, I stepped away and eventually sold the Technics, but kept the vinyl. My love for house and techno never faded.
Since the early 2010’s, I’ve been especially moved by progressive house and techno. In 2020, I invested in a Pioneer XDJ-RX2 digital setup and fell in love with playing new grooves through new technology. Now spinning again, my sets are melodic, uplifting, and at times deep and funky, with a strong respect for old-school “pure” house that you can hear throughout.
