Since February 2005 the man behind the heels has been part of the music theatre and entertainment industry as a multi-award winning headlining vocalist, actor and public figure and October 2013 saw the transformation of skills into the multi-award winning singing Gender Illusionist Kara Zmatiq.

Kara Zmatiq has been recognized nationally being doted as "one of Australia's Best Drag Stars" by Focus Magazine as well as receiving countless awards and receiving multiple award nominations for her outstanding vocal talent as a Drag Entertainer.
