Kandi King has the taste for the earlier years of UK Hardcore and Happy Hardcore. A listener of Hardcore circa 2002, and is a late bloomer kandi raver after attending his first rave in 2019 at Hardcore Heaven: Los Angeles. He encountered P-Kitty at his second rave at Hardcore In The Bay: Kandi Kids Unite, adopted DJing as a hobby after his first Kandi sesh meet in late 2019, and bought his first DJ controller in 2020.
