Much of my music experience over six decades has been through Los Angeles air waves - KMPC, KHJ, KFAC, KMET, KLOS, KNX, KWST, KROQ, KCRW, KPCC, KXLU, KUSC and a few others. Watched quite a few bite the dust or get swallowed up by corporate interests that cared about shareholders, not the community. Also watched music get more and more divided and divisive, and certainly redundant, lowest common denominator, and uninspiring. That is not to say I have not enjoyed talent in the passed few decades, but it sure is few and far between.
