James Alexander is an American composer, singer-songwriter, music producer, musician and poet of Indian origin. He considers A.R Rahman as his musical guru. At an early age, he was deeply influenced by the music in films like Roja, Bombay, Duet, Rangeela and Taal.

James loves to listen to soundtracks. He first started composing music in 8th grade and has written many songs in different languages. Most of his songs were composed during 1992 – 2000.
