JV represents a unique breed of dance music producer -- one that intelligently fuses together elements of House and Techno to not only move dance floors, but also provoke the imagination. With over twenty record releases under his belt, JV's "deep-yet-dancefloor" sound has circulated the globe several times over, catching the attention of those in the know, such as Hernan Cattaneo who featured JV's "Grand Theft Vinyl" track on the highly acclaimed Renaissance Masters compilation.
While a music maker at heart, JV also has a passion for hearing conservation. In 2012 JV founded Frequency Effect, a charity organization with three core goals: educate the music community on how to protect their hearing, support a cure for hearing loss through fundraising events, and share a love for deep electronic music with the world. Recent successes of the charity include a Red Bull Music Academy sponsored tour through the US which featured double headliners and generated over $10k for research.
