Milkplant is from Oakland in the San Francisco Bay Area, California USA. He's the label founder of From 0-1, techno label and artist collective centered in the Bay Area and Seattle but with familial artist 'outposts' located in Vancouver BC and Portland, Oregon. Originally from Milwaukee just north of Chicago nestled deep in the Midwest, his influences range from the experience of growing up in the cold Midwest- a place saturated with techno phenomena. Indelibly ingrained: Detroit's techno, Chicago's house, Milwaukee's hardcore, Midwest Rave scene, and an endless list of Industrial, Punk, Ska, and Metal bands. DJing and producing techno since 2000, and 2004 respectively.
