A lifelong musician, Justice Riser began his career as both a hip-hop dancer and a DJ before he’d graduated elementary school. With only belt-driven turntables and a penchant for rap lyrics, he mixed and created music for family and friends as a hobby while simultaneously competing in numerous hip-hop dance competitions. In time, inspired by his father, a country western artist, and the tight-knit Southern Baptist community of his youth, he expanded his musical repertoire to include a wide array of genres, from rock to jazz to gospel to funk. With a family tree comprised of more than seventy dedicated Baptist ministers, Justice was also drawn to mix and produce soulful music that served not only to entertain, but also to inspire its listeners. With this in mind, he created multiple albums with the goal of healing and soothing souls through varied musical genres.
