Julian Ramirez aka Julz Winfield Born on August 10, 1978 in Orange County Ca. Julz was heavily influenced by the funk, soul, and disco played by his mom and aunts growing up. His passion for music and art has always been a vital part of who he is. He began learning music production in 1996 when he began learning the basics of sampling and recording on a sony four track minidisk recorder and akai rack samplers. The Underground hiphop music scene is what peeked his interest and where he learned hands on techniques to record his first album for "The Man Made Chemicals". In 1999 he was introduced to the rave scene in Southern California which led him to purchase a Roland Mc-505 Groovebox. Experimenting with different sound pallets opened his eyes to a whole new world of music and once he found deep house he finally found the sound he was looking for. He was blessed to have the chance to study countless house music legends as they performed every Sunday night at LA's Legendary House Club DE
