Classically trained on the cello and always eager to find a new approach to sound he visited Japan, Korea, France and Canada in search for alternative harmonies.
Heavily influenced by film music he has a sense for orchestral highlights, yet his inspiration by the BAUHAUS movement Julien takes a no nonsense approach to rhythm and beats.
Having spent the last few years between Cologne, Berlin and Seoul crate digging and selecting his style of music has evolved in to a euphony of disco, trance, italo disco, electro, house, progressive house and indie-dance.
He is also exploring rather dystopian, psychedelic and hard sounds heavily influenced by early EBM and New_Beat sounds under his alter ego '9inch'.
Like his personality his sound varies from ying all the way to yang.
