Jonathan David Millard was born on June 11, 1980 in Monmouthshire, he grew up with his Mother, Helen Millard, on a differcult council estate in the South Wales valleys.

Jonathan attended the local comprehensive school, before attending Oxford University to read Theology.

After graduation, Jonathan stayed in Oxford to pursue a career in optics, in 2003 Jonathan relocated home to continue his career, becoming Assistant Manager of the local opticians, then moving on to become Manager of a larger store and a regional trainer.
