YoJi: Raised In the Northern Reaches of BC Canada, YoJi started listening to Electronic music at a very young age, she loved helping her dad record cassette tapes of deep forest trance and downtempo electronica. On one side, growing up with a family that put on music festivals in the Slocan Valley, she spent most of her summers singing, dancing and making music. On the other side, she was going to jazz concerts and swinging to old 45s with her Grandpa. She was destined to become part of the electronic music scene. YoJi is now 27 and the long time owner of her own production company in Fort St. John B.C. called Wake The Funk Up Productions. With more than five years of event production experience and a lifetime of LOVE for music and art, She plays all genres of music while constantly finding new ways to surprise the crowd. With tons of energy and even more enthusiasm, YoJi will make your body want to release all its stress, forget any pain, and just BECOME the music.
