You can call him DJ H3lix or HealX, MD, but Josh works just fine, too. After growing up in Honolulu, Josh moved to California and began working towards a degree in Biological Sciences. He currently resides in LA and is pursing a medical degree.

Having played a variety of instruments including the piano, as well as the alto, tenor, and baritone saxophone throughout his childhood, music has always been a significant part of Josh's life. When his undergraduate workload became too intense to continue playing these instruments, Josh assumed the moniker DJ H3lix and took up DJ-ing as a hobby.

As medical school affords DJ H3lix (hopefully soon to be HealX, MD) significantly less free time, he has not yet had the chance to try his hand at any significant original production, but his passion for music remains steadfast.

Through his work, he hopes for others to feel the love that connects us all, to see that every day and every person is beautiful.
