Just put together a mix with the tracks I've picked up while I've been busy studying. It's a nice little journey, that starts slow and easy, but not shying away from grooves. Then it gradually starts to build, but for every heads down track I tried to have a crowd friendly vocal track or cheerful sample coming through.
The idea is about trying to get everyone there. Eventually I'm throwing down a couple big, bassy house tracks. And after that I gradually pull it back down with a combination of more beautiful tracks, bass and groove. I figure, if I'm slowing down the bpm again, I've got to offer a really stimulating mix of tracks to keep up the levels I've introduced.
This mix is dedicated to my adorable nephew Toby (my niece Charlie too, but we don't have any photos of her djing)
