It's been over 10 years of DJing now. The last few years have really been dominated by the radio show I had, PoMo, and then finding opportunities to mix again.
I always record live, innovative, exploratory mixes, which are as much about the tracks as it is about the transitions. We are all creators and manipulators, and a good DJ mix should celebrate that fact. It should showcase humanity's ability to capture and create fascinating and stimulating sounds, and then present to the audience's ears just how we can reinterpret and manipulate those sounds.
Nowadays I explore house, breakbeat techno, lounge and - recently - 90's drum & bass. They all present their own magnificent insights into the human condition, and I try my best to manipulate them in order to celebrate our creative abilities and to reflect on my own existence.
