I've worked in local radio since the 1980s, now studying for a PhD in media studies, at Birkbeck, University of London. I'm researching production practices in local community radio. Recently I have been reporting on local issues and events for my local stations and as part of my fieldwork, I produced a series of short audio features about Harpenden for a local internet radio station to broadcast and post online.
