I have been a DJ since a couple years after learning to ride a bike. My father was a DJ, my two brothers are DJ's and my son has been a DJ. We have had a DJ in the family since 1972.
So what makes me different? Well, I have forgotten more that most of today's DJ's have learned. I don't need a computer to DJ. I don't use premixed tracks (unless I mixed them). I have played in at least 10 countries. But the biggest thing that makes me different is that I play for my audience. I am nothing without them.
