Portuguese-born, California-based singer-songwriter Jos Eckert blends melancholic indie-folk-pop with elements of soul and rock. His evocative guitar melodies, minimalistic vocals, and introspective lyrics draw from his relentless overthinking and a life spent between continents. After moving from Portugal to the UK at 18, Jos spent nearly a decade refining his sound before relocating to California, where his music continues to evolve. His 2018 debut single ‘Expectations’ earned him a nomination for ‘Best Male Solo Artist’ at the UK NMG Awards. He released his first two EPs this year, and is expected to release his debut full-length album in early 2026.
