Jonny7sunami was born in the year 2000 when Jon Leaver purchased two technic turntables and a pioneer mixer. Jonny started with any vinyl he could get his hands on from local shops in Burlington Vermont and Boston's famous satellite records. While at college Jonny tried his hand at learning to match beats and his style was more trance, house and funk during his starter years. Moving back to Maine 7sunami got back to his roots and started to spin more club banging beats that get you up on the dance floor.

The future of Jonny7sunami changed when Jonny purchased two Denon DN-S1200 CD turntables in 2009. Although records will always be his roots Jonny decided to incorporate the knowledge and skills of a CD DJ into his mix. Jonny7sunami has now opened his door to world of music production. Jonny7sunami purchased a program called REASON where you can write music from scratch and has since been sucked into the world of Production.
