Attended Parkhill Junior, then aged 11, Forest School, then qualified as an Electrician, changed career and became a teaboy at Trident recording studio's in London, did some engineering there, then went to the National Broadcasting School. Did a course and worked there under Michael Bukht for two years, joined Southern sound as a broadcast engineer, nearly moved to Brighton but luckily LBC Radio in London accepted my application at the last minute.

Worked with Brian Hayes, Clive Bull, Pete Murray, ahem! the list goes on.... everyone at LBC from 1984 - 1997. Got bored in the end with the poitics and resigned. Did some freelancing at Talk Sport and Liberty with Simon Bates and then decided to buy the Cransley with my partner Simon.

Still running a Guest house with Simon in Bournemouth. Best beaches bar one! I keep that private and it isn't shell bay (Studland)
