Jon Aaron grew up near Washington, DC. He started his DJ career back in 1998 at his college radio station at Mississippi State University , which was a metal show. At Mississippi State, he heard real trance for the first time and still remembers the set, which was from Kimball Collins. After that he was hooked on trance and progressive music. He then started to DJ under the name Craziee J and started the EDM movement in northeastern Mississippi back in 2000-2001. He was the DJ at many parties and raves while he was in the area. He also gained residency at Club Excalibur.
After college, he moved onto a career in TV weather. This career lasted for about 8 years, after which he started to DJ again in 2011. He never lost touch with the trance and progressive music as you can tell in his sets. Jon Aaron loves to mix the big tracks from the late 90s to the early 2000s, along with current trance and progressive tracks.
