Singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Jon Bean, a Utah native, relentlessly brought a punk rock ethic to the stages, and television studios, of Salt Lake City, Park City, Provo, Ogden, Moab, Boise, Portland, Santa Monica, and downtown Seattle. The punk ethic is to play where you can, when you can.
To characterize Jon Bean’s sound, would be a guitar driven, blues based, psychedelic punk rock, acoustic singer/songwriter, fused with Jazz, and traditional Folk instrumentation.
Since then, Jon found new musical horizons to explore. He had recorded music for the soundtrack of the 2004 film “Red Canyon”. Jon has seen beyond the one dimensional sound of traditional Rock n’ Roll, combining styles of music, the way a Chef creates a recipe. He is classically trained, studied Jazz theory, and can sing , play the Piano, Guitar, Upright Bass, Harmonica, Ukulele, Trumpet, Saw, and Drums. Jon is currently producing his own album of original compositions, due out in the summer of 2021.
