And what of Johnny himself?
His voice is agile, as varied in its abilities as his songs are in their themes. But above all, his voice is deep and lyrical, with just a hint of the exotic about it. Whether he is singing of love or despair, there is something profoundly honest about Johnny's voice: the emotion, the passion is never strained or fragile, but rather has depths and echoes.

As has perhaps already been suggested, Johnny's songs are full of variety, and show a wide range of styles, though all expressed in Johnny's unique way. What the listener experiences is a lively and enthusiastic synergy of musical styles as diverse as the blues, jazz, reggae, classical rock and even a bit of high-class pop. But this is not to say that the music is confused: far from it! Johnny Moonlight, without exception, carries the listener on wings of song through all these musical worlds in his own inimitable and stylish manner.
