John Harding is a carbon-based life form descended from an ape. He lives on an utterly insignificant blue-green planet roughly ninety-two million miles from a small unregarded yellow sun at the unfashionable end of the Western Spiral arm of the Galaxy. He is so amazingly primitive he still thinks digital watches are a pretty neat idea. He is increasingly of the opinion that we all made a big mistake in coming down from the trees in the first place and in fact even the trees were a bad move and that no one should ever have left the oceans.
