john fucking cartwright is a Portland and San Francisco based dj. His interests span underground disco, funk, soul, boogie, nu-disco, all kinds of house, and beyond. He believe the club is high church, dancing is release, and music is joy; which he tries to bring to each set.
He is founding member/worker-owner at The Stud Collective, San Francisco, the United States first co-cooperatively run queer nightlife venue, which closed during the Pandemic, but is returning to San Francisco in 2024.
