Philly based Guitarist/Provocateur, Journalist, Anarchist & Street Musician, John Cecil Price, formerly of Legendary Noise, Dark-Ambient, Space-Rock bands, AKASH & Temple of Bon Matin, went SOLO with the release of his debut CD: "UBWENGE", in May, 2003.

Also look for other JCP releases, "THEOSOPHY", released in August, 2003; "THE BLACK AND BLUE AMERICAN" in 2005 (A compliation of JCP's 1st 2 Albums and bonus traks). Look for the forthcoming, JCP album, "UUMMBAABAKAHNOO".

John also leads an avant garde, Prog-Space-Jam Band, called, "The Crime" & occaisionally fronts shows with his Free-Jazz Hurricane of a group simply dubbed, "The John Price Trio".

Lately, John can be seen & heard exploring infectious pop/punk/surf & R&B done with a hardrock twist in "Baptist Preachers".

Throughout John's solo work, he's always featured some of Philly Music's finest living-musical giants such as Elliott Levin on Tenor & Soprano Saxes, Flute & Spoken Word along with Charl
