Bio:
Juan Carlos Zarate, better known by his stage name John Carlous, is a Mexican American mobile Bay Area DJ. You can catch him mixing live at house parties, school dances, club and family events. His passion for music led him to apply at the Boys and Girls Club at the age of fifteen. There, he would see other producers create Hip-Hop and R&B instrumentals, as well as recording young artists. After gaining a decent amount of knowledge by his music advisors, he started to produce his own R&B beats. Entering sophomore year in college, he began to DJ at house parties and club events.
Music Style:
John Carlous mixes different styles of music, starting with Hip-Hop, EDM, and various Latin genres. His main focal point is mixing and producing Melbourne, Big Room, and Trap music. His interest in bouncy music, just like what you can hear in some of the Latin genres,is the reason why he enjoys the specific EDM styles we mentioned earlier.
